Nick Andrew is a serving British Army officer specialised the application of joint effects. He has operational experience an operational planner from Belize, Bosnia, Kosovo, Cyprus and Afghanistan. He has worked at all levels of command but predominately has been employed at the operational and tactical level.
Over the last ten years, he has gained extensive experience in policy, doctrine and concept development as well as operational lessons. He has been the NATO and UK’s lead for developing operational tradecraft manuals for strategic communications, information operations, psychological operations, military public affairs, operations security, deception and targeting that direct how best to operate and guide what is taught with these areas based on experiences from operations and history. He has been the lead developer for a new geo-political and audience understanding process to support decision making and the execution of military activities.
